Guidlines for authors

Oral Presentations

Except for invited talks, 20 minutes have been allocated for each oral presentation, including the question period. Therefore, speakers are requested to time their talks for about 15 minutes so that a few minutes are left in the end for questions.

Poster Presentations

Posters will be displayed during the corresponding Session of oral presentations, as scheduled in the Symposium Program. Authors should consult the program for the respective attendance time. Maximum poster's size: A0: Landscape [84 cm (height) x 115 cm (width)]. NOT Portrait orientation please.

Proceedings

The Proceedings will be published in the IAG Symposia series by Springer Verlag. The cost of the proceedings book for the Symposium participants is 45 Euro and is not included in the registration fee. This book of proceedings will be mailed to all participants who have paid for it. In order to achieve a timely publication of the proceedings, contributions should be brought by the authors to the conference. In addition, all manuscripts (without review) presented at the meeting (either orals or Posters) will uploaded on the Symposium Web for all participants to see. All authors are therefore requested to submit an electronic version of their manuscript to GGEO2008<at>mred.tuc.gr before the Symposium week for that purpose.

Papers

All authors (Oral and Poster presentations) should send their manuscripts for publication in the Symposium Proceedings. The maximum allowable length of papers is 6 pages, including figures, tables, references, etc. We include here a set of detailed instructions on the format of the papers. A sample paper is provided in PDF format or in MS Word . Authors should hand their papers over to the session chairs at the conference, both in two hard copies and in digital form - MS Word or LaTeX files only, please.
